Cookie policy

A cookie is a small file a website can store on your device, for example to remember preferences or track your behaviour. Below you can read exactly which cookies MijnDoktersRecept uses — and which it doesn’t.

We currently use no tracking, analytics or marketing cookies

This website places no cookies for visitor statistics (such as Google Analytics), advertising or social media tracking. Nothing about your browsing behaviour is tracked or passed on to third parties for marketing purposes.

Functional/technical storage

The questionnaire temporarily stores a few non-medical basic details in your own browser (localStorage) — your name, date of birth, email address and chosen treatment — so you don’t have to type them again if you accidentally refresh or close the page. Your medical answers (such as medication use, description of your symptoms, medical history, blood pressure and the treatment-specific questions) are deliberately never stored locally: you always fill those in again after a refresh. This is not a tracking cookie: nothing is sent to us or third parties, the data stays only on your own device, and it’s automatically deleted after 30 minutes or as soon as you submit the questionnaire. You can also always clear this draft yourself via the “Start over” button that appears if an earlier draft is found.

What if this changes?

If we start using analytics, marketing or tracking cookies in the future, we’ll update this cookie policy and, where legally required, ask for your consent via a cookie notice before such cookies are placed.
